A bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatrics is sought to provide essential speech and language services to school-aged children in an educational setting. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite in Waxahachie, TX, with a flexible schedule of 20-30 hours per week, suitable for part-time or full-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-5.
- Deliver targeted speech therapy services to support individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports, with opportunities to complete report writing remotely.
- Provide bilingual support in Spanish to engage effectively with diverse student populations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license or certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
- Proficiency in Spanish to conduct bilingual assessments and therapy sessions.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
